We invite your to partner with us in our vision to create a safe space for young people.

We envision a community-focussed space where all are welcome to participate. A youth drop-in centre will be a key use of the space, plus recreational activities, after-school children’s programs, movie and game nights, concerts, conferences, walking groups, a spacious kitchen, classrooms, addiction awareness and assistance programs and a place for Sunday worship services.

Why a new building? At nearly three times the size of the existing space, this 8,500 sq.ft. building will better position us to provide expanded services to the community. Minnedosa has fantastic organized activities from 4-H to sports events, but is short on other things for young people to do. We’ve all talked about a youth centre long enough. It’s time to do this for our kids. Consider also that conferences and concerts support our local economy by bringing in restaurant, lodging and retail revenue.

The goal. We have already raised $61,200 toward our goal and we’re just getting started. Our goal is $3.4 million; we have already raised enough to build 155 sq.ft. Our goal would be reached by simply repeating 55 more times!
